Michael Millhouse - President and CEO
As President of BridgePoint, Michael sets the vision and strategy for long-term growth for the company and employees. Prior to BridgePoint, he was an Account Manager and Resource Manager at Genisys Consulting, Inc. and former owner of Braemore Consulting, an IT staffing and technology firm. Michael brings over 16 years of industry experience and leadership to BridgePoint. In addition, Michael leads the business development division for BridgePoint where he has a solid track record of building relationships and providing value to his clients. Michael received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology, and holds a CMI certificate from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Brian Sharp - Vice President and CFO
Prior to BridgePoint, Brian founded BrainTree, Inc. which was an information technology service company that focused on small and medium size businesses. Brian began his career as developer/business analyst with Genisys Consulting, Inc. in Elk Grove, Illinois. As CFO for BridgePoint, Brian provides financial direction and is responsible for the strategic financial growth of the company. In addition, Brian heads up the IT Managed Services division for BridgePoint. Brian has been teaching Information Technology classes at both the graduate and undergraduate levels at Keller Graduate School of Management and the University of St. Francis. Brian earned a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Francis.
John Gavilan - Vice President and CTO
As Chief Technology Officer for BridgePoint, John is responsible for defining the direction of BridgePoint's technology and for ensuring that all of BridgePoint's staff is up to date on the latest tools and trends. John focuses on delivering technology solutions that leverage core Microsoft tools and technologies and ensures that all solutions utilize industry best practices and standards. John started his career in IT as a Systems Administrator for DeVry Institute of Technology in Chicago. He spent several months as a system engineer for Genisys Consulting in Elk Grove Village where he assisted in establishing Genisys' Infrastructure Team. During his tenure at Genisys, John began to focus his efforts on applications development and eventually became a leader in architecting and defining solutions. John received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology.
Laura Barker - Vice President and COO
As Vice President in charge of the Project Solutions practice, Laura is responsible for ensuring delivery and real world value to clients. As COO, Laura assists in defining the growth strategies for BridgePoint and ensuring the structure is in place to support it. Throughout her career, Laura earned MCSD status, wrote many articles, published a book, taught development and spoke at many national conferences on technology topics. Laura's focus shifted over the years to ensuring quality project management and solution delivery and subsequently earned her PMP certification. Laura sits on the board for the Chicago Chapter of the International Association for Microsoft Partners and is in charge of managing BridgePoint's Microsoft relationship. Laura graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and has over 16 years experience in Information Technology.
