What is your process for finding me a job?
The IT industry is exciting, fast paced and highly rewarding, and that is exactly how you will describe your experience with BridgePoint Technologies. At BridgePoint Technologies, we pride ourselves on hiring the best and brightest talent to work with and support our vital clients’ needs.

The hiring process begins with your Personal Recruiter who will provide a complete analysis of your current professional situation and goals in relation to your search for your next career. This includes an extensive review of your background after we receive your resume through our online resume submission portal. Your Personal Recruiter will give your resume a thorough evaluation and look for an opportunity that fits your objectives and professional experience. The next step will involve a phone call and then proceed to in-person meetings to introduce you to the recruitment team that you will be working with so that we can match you with the right position and organization.

To give you the best potential to show off your technical skills along with your resume, your Personal Recruiter will walk you through the skills assessment process where you will sit down and apply your knowledge and experience in a web based technical assessment to gage where your strengths are in order to find you the right job opportunity.

After we plan and strategize for a submission to an open position, we will work hard to obtain an interview for you. Your Personal Recruiter will prepare you for what to expect based on the position requirements and our experience fulfilling our clients’ needs with top talent.

How long does it usually take to place candidates?
The average time it takes to find a job is dependent on different variables, including experience, compensation expectations, location, availability, skill set and industry. The ideal time period for contract and contract-to-hire project opportunities is between two (2) and four (4) weeks until project confirmation and placement where some permanent placement opportunities can take four (4) plus weeks due to longer HR processes. Typically within three (3) days of a new job opening BridgePoint Technologies anticipates having you identified and prepared to submit. Once our client receives your resume it takes between one (1) and three (3) days to review your submission and make a decision for next steps. If selected for an interview typically a phone interview will be scheduled with a few days’ notice. Upon successful completion of a phone interview one (1) to two (2) more in-person interviews could be scheduled depending on the hiring manger, which takes approximately one (1) week to complete. When you are offered and accept the job you will be on boarded, a process that takes a minimum of one (1) to five (5) business days pending background, drug screening and notice periods to current employers.

Your Personal Recruiter will work with you to match the right job to your background. With an extensive client list in many industries, this is something we are passionate about and will strive to do for you. Our clientele ranges from leading Financial Services, Healthcare, Legal, Distribution, Property Management, Realty, Non-Profit, and other small to mid-sized organizations nationwide.

What is the dress? What are the typical hours?
BridgePoint consultants are required to be at minimum business casual. However at some clients formal attire is required on meeting days or for other special client meetings in which you need to represent BridgePoint Technologies and our client. In general we ask that you conform to the look and feel of the work environment you’re in but at a minimum wear business casual wear.

All candidates are required to work eight (8) hours a day unless otherwise directed by client management. In some situations, 2nd and 3rd shift work hours are available and extra or off hour support is sometimes required so your flexibility is appreciated. Working over 40 hours and requests for a work day that is not 9 – 5 needs to be pre-approved by the client.

What type of technical professionals do you look for when working with your direct clients?
Come up with a very general list of positions we fill use words like application developer verses being specific like saying .NET or Java.

How does 1099 work?  How does Corp to Corp work?
We work with professionals in a variety of situations including W2 hourly, 1099 and Corp to Corp consulting project engagements. Professional Independent Consultants will work with their Personal Recruiters to execute and process Sub-Contractor Agreements, Statements of Work, Background/Drug Screens, Time Tracking System Setup, Invoicing Process, and subsequent Payment by BridgePoint Technologies. Together, you will go through the process to help you better understand the steps necessary to get you started on your project.

How often do I get paid? Can I have direct deposit?
BridgePoint Technologies provides various payment options for professional consultants ranging from quick and easy timesheet approval and invoice payments via U.S. Postal mail on 30 day payment terms to Direct Deposit into your choice of checking or savings accounts payable in 15 days. Every consultant is paid on the 15th and final day of the month.

For W2 hourly Consultant employees : We provide Direct Deposit to the checking or savings account of your choice, with the ability to split between various accounts also. You will be required to submit your timesheet every 16th and Final day for the month and you will see payment in 15 days. No need to submit invoices or manage taxes, just let us know what you require to withhold and we do the rest.

For Independent Contractors: In addition to your consultant tracking hours which are submitted on the 15th and Final day for the month also, BridgePoint requires that your company submit an Invoice for our Accounting Staff to process. Your invoice should include the following:

  1. Must be a word or PDF document (Microsoft® Word has many templates)
  2. Company Name
  3. Address
  4. Remittance address (if different than company address)
  5. Phone number
  6. Mobile number
  7. Email address
  8. Period which is being invoiced for
  9. Client Name
  10. Hours worked during the invoiced period (must match Time Tracking Application)
  11. Bill Rate
  12. Total amount due

All invoices should be submitted via email to accounting@mybridgepoint.com:

  1. Invoices should be submitted on the 16th and 1st of every month. If the due date falls on a weekend, or you have a planed day off, please submit the invoice on the earliest business day before the due date or scheduled off day.
  2. BridgePoint will pay within 30 days of receipt of invoice via U.S. Postal unless other means of delivery are set up.
  3. BridgePoint will compensate your consultant for all Client approved expenses, within 30 days of receipt of Invoice for such expenses. This invoice should be separate from invoices for hours worked and be accompanied by receipts, client approval document, who should be billed back for the expenses and what the expense was for.

Your Person Recruiter will be responsible for managing your experience throughout your contract duration and keeping this information up to date for future reference and contact for new opportunities when you complete your project. We also provide easy to use tools build into our online candidate tracking system that will allow you to review new job opportunities, send us your updated resume and keep us up to date on when you will be available to start a new position.
